When a stroke survivor finds difficulty in speaking or understanding language after a stroke, they can benefit from communications program.

Our speech programs are funded entirely by donations. Your generosity will help the lives of Delta's stroke survivors and their familes.

Communications Program

Our weekly speech programs are designed to provide support for individuals navigating the challenges of stroke-induced communication disorders, such as aphasia and apraxia.

These conditions often affect speech, comprehension, and the ability to read or write, significantly impacting daily communication.

To address these challenges, we offer a Communications Program for aphasia.

Virtual / In-Person Groups

In recognition of the evolving needs of our community, we offer both online and in-person sessions to ensure accessibility and flexibility for all participants.

What You Get

Whether you're seeking assistance with articulation, language comprehension, or reading and writing skills, our speech programs will help to improve independence and build confidence.

Cognitive Rehabilitation

We offer weekly brain games and learning opportunities to help increase cognitive activity for stroke survivors.
